My friend and I visit Toro Bowl and catch up over appetizers or dinner every month or so. She loves the tempura vegetables, and I adore the lettuce wraps and egg rolls. I've also had sushi here, and it was really good.
The employees are friendly and don't mind if we linger to chat after our meal. The prices are really reasonable too, and if you are feeling like a hermit, they will deliver your food to you! Whether you are a sushi person or not, you should definitely give Toro Bowl a try. -

I was served by a man with a bun named Cameron. He was a very pleasant guy and made me and my friend feel welcomed. He wasn't as Asian as you'd expect for a sushi place, but the bun did help. lmao just joking but he was a really good server. We ordered four oriental rolls for an incredible price of 19.60 USD. The sushi was top notch, maybe even top 10 in the IE.

I used to love this place, we came in on a Saturday at 5:20pm not busy at all . The service was horrible !! Couldn't find any waiters .The food took forever to get to the table and was cold and did not taste good at all. Then as we were leaving we notice they were hiding the food-health rating and it was a C Definitely not coming back!

Toro Bowl Bistro & Bar, at 12045 5th St. Suite A in Yucaipa, was inspected Aug. 5 and received a grade of 70/C with three critical violations. A sushi chef didn't wash hands, some cooked and raw food in a cooler weren't at a safe temperature and several food-contact surfaces weren't clean, including inside the ice machine, where there was "excessive mold like food debris." Among the 10 lesser violations, the inspector found employees lacked basic food-safety knowledge, and saw ants on the sushi bar and in a cup of soda.

When I came here last night everything was great. I had the rock roll, spicy tuna hand roll and a few spring rolls and they were all fantastic. If you're on the fence, give this place a shot. You won't regret it!
